Customer Requirements: Bundle tissue packs in 3 and 6 pack bundles for a contract manufacturer at speeds of 300 packs in and up to 100 bundles out.

Challenges: Tissue is soft and varies tremendously from manufacturer to manufacturer. We did not have sample of the real product and used what we could find locally. The individual tissue packs had been wrapped and we needed to use a film with a different melt point in the bundle wrap so that it would not stick to the underlying film in the individual packs.

Discoveries: In production we learned that the real tissue behaved differently from the samples we had been using.

Outcome: The machine was adjusted to handle the different tissue.
