Customer Requirements: Wrap two sizes of candy boxes at 120 ppm with 10 minute tool-less quick change between sizes.

Challenges: The tool-less quick change failed completely at the speeds the customer required. After careful examination, we discovered that the speed and vibration of the machine combined with the sizing of parts for tool-less changeover mean that the tool-less parts were failing rapidly.

Discoveries: Replacement of the parts with parts that required and Allen wrench to change over meant that the machine could reach the customer expectations.

Outcome: The customer was pleased that Package owned the problem and provided ad solution in the time indicated. Subsequently the customer provided a testimonial and permitted site visits from non-competing prospects.
