Customer Requirements: Replace very old FA with new one that could handle both paper and film at 40-60 ppm, thereby providing the option to replace shrink wrapper with overwrapper.

Challenges: Finding a cold glue and glue system that worked with their paper and did not require constant maintenance.

Discoveries: Glue systems require lots of maintenance unless they are in continuous use. Clogging is a constant issue.

Outcome: Customer is successfully running a cold glue sealing system, ahs used the machine with film as an alternative to shrink wrap and is considering a move to heat treated paper to move away from the glue system.
